Mission Bay Beaten by Westview

The Bucs lose 18-14 in the first round of the playoffs. Everything lined up and a win would have meant a second home playoff game against Montgomery. Unfortunately, a muffed punt (which was really a missed call by the refs), an untimely interception, and a tough time stopping the run early on were the difference in a close game against Westview. Overall, the Bucs played well and there were some big hits, exciting plays, and a couple of excellent defensive stands. In the end a few negative plays killed drives and Westview's effective running game ate up a lot of clock. Mission Bay finished the 2024 season 3-8. A few of the players will see their season continue as the Bucs send Evan Silber, Robbie Page, Jevyn Higman, and others to the regional all star game.
