Bucs Home Opener a Close Game

Opening the season at home against the Imperial Tigers, the Bucs came up just a little short, losing 25-20. The Tigers averaged 5.0 yards a carry, amassing 150 yards to go along with 193 yards through the air. Mission Bay countered with 220 yards passing, but only five yards on the ground. Sean Lander had 145 receiving yards to go along with 7 tackles. (Mario Ramirez led the team with 8 tackles). Major Scott had a touchdown and an interception. Bucs quarterback Austin Stefl had a QB rating of 119.2, completing 22 of 29 passes for 215 yards.
